In the near future, unambitious private investigator Zhan Mingrui is hired by Hu Shan to find her missing husband, tech tycoon Yan Ke. Adhering to the principle of doing good deeds to the end, Zhan Mingrui decides to help Yan Ke with psychological treatment and hopes to find clues about the kidnapper to enhance his detective career.
